Copyright and DMCA notices.
We do not host or distribute third-party media. If you believe your rights are affected, here is how to reach us and what happens next.
Policy version: 2026-10-29
Where to send a notice
Email dmca@textfromlink.com or copyright@textfromlink.com. We acknowledge every notice within 24 hours and complete handling within 72 hours.
What a notice must include
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The material you claim is infringing and where it is: for us, the source URL that was submitted, plus the date if known.
- Your contact details: name, address, phone, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
What we can do
We do not host or distribute third-party media. Submitted links are processed transiently to generate text output; original media is deleted immediately after processing and transcript text is kept for at most 24 hours. On a valid notice we delete any remaining transcript linked to the reported URL and block that source URL from future processing.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was blocked by mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, the blocked URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We forward it to the original complainant and may restore access after 10 business days unless they notify us of a court action.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices are terminated.
